Why does Foo have to be the only person in our dept with any tech knowledge. We have to be in to work at 6am! This means waking up at 4am to be in on time. Long story short, I like to sleep and I am going to be a bear tomorrow because I didn't get my normal beauty sleep. Tomorrow will not be my day!
PS - People learn how to use a fucking computer!
This is where I post factual and substantiated posts comprised of my ideas and thoughts. You can choose to disagree, but you are wrong.

My Lunch Time
Most days Foo and I eat lunch in our break room at work. The reason i don't eat at my desk is because I want to get a break from being there, so I try to get that by eating in the break room. Most of the time I am just annoyed by the goings on while I am in there. I would love to be able to read peacefully during my break but I don't get that chance (unless its near a holiday and a lot of people take off). Most of the time I am having to listen to annoying people drone on and on about their stupid lives, which I could care less about. I don't care about your ex husband or if he is in rehab or jail. I don't care about your kids or your kids friends and their stupid problems. I don't need to hear your cell phone conversations with whomever. There are 2 people that especially annoy me. The first is a person that can't seem to eat anything (and I mean anything) without slurping (usually reserved for soup) and then chomping it with her mouth open. It's gross for one and very aggravating. The second person comes into the break room starts talking as soon as he sits down and knows everything about every topic. If this guy is so smart, why isn't he in MENSA or some equivalent smarty pants group? One of these days I am going to explode and its not going to be pretty. I would love for just one day to have peace and quiet while I am on my lunch break. So in the mean time shut up and just eat your lunch!

Why did you come to work!
I understand that everyone that has a job has a certain task to do everyday, but there is no excuse to come to work when you are sick. I don't care if you "feel" you are important, trust me you're not. The company you work for will not fall apart if you don't come in for a day or two. I don't want to have to keep sanitizing my hands and everything you touch. I have travel plans soon and don't want to be battling a cold before or during my trip. Every time you blow your nose or cough into your hand, you should be sanitizing them, whether it be washing your hands or using hand sanitizer. When one person is sick that usually means everyone will be sick at one time or another in the dept. So, the next time you plan on coming into the office sick....DON'T!

Vague on Facebook
Short rant tonight.....
Why do people have to be vague on Facebook? If you are going to bother posting something, just come out and say it. "I am pregnant", My family are a bunch of assholes", "I hate my job"....etc. I'll admit it, I'm nosey. I want to read people's posts and know exactly what they are saying. I don't want to have to read between the lines or have to ask questions to find out what is going on or how you feel.

Looking Back.....
Looking back my parents always complained about people that took advantage of the system, without earning any of it, ie: welfare, medicaid, etc. I listened and acknowledged and then somewhat shrugged it off. As I have gotten older, have a full time job, a house and a family (and yes a husband and 3 dogs are a family), I have definitely gotten more bitter about govt funded programs. Yes, I understand that some people really need govt assistance in time of need and that is what it was intended to be. These programs in their purest forms are meant to help people in need during extreme financial hardships. I get extremely irritated when people abuse these programs. I pay my taxes, which means I (and every other tax payer) funds these programs. Why is it that citizens on welfare and other programs have more than I do? I can't afford to go out and buy expensive cameras, tablets and laptops, while people committing fraud feel they can go spend all their money and feel it is appropriate to ask for assistance. On top of that add an infant and another one on the way. Before Foo and I decided we weren't going to have kids, we really took a hard look at our finances and (at that time) decided we needed to wait if we were going to live a comfortable life and bring a child into the world. Why is it that people receive more money the more children they have? Shouldn't it be the more kids, the less money you receive? Wouldn't this deter women from having so many unplanned/unwanted children, if they knew they weren't going to be supported. Final thought before bed...... I don't want to hear you bitch about businesses not paying your taxes (because you are considered an independent contractor), but then you just don't pay them yourself. Since you "don't" have any money, then you sign up for assistance, but have nicer things than I do. Shut your face, pay your taxes (and back taxes) and become a responsible member of society.

Not Much to Report
I really don't have anything to rant about today. I am so busy at work sending out iPad2s to our Area Field Managers that I haven't had time to breath. All I know is that I will be busy watching So You Think You Can Dance tomorrow! Finally they are through auditions and the actual competition can begin. Bring it on! I look forward to this every year. Hopefully tomorrow I will have something more exciting to talk about, so until then, Goodnight.

Linen Pants
Linen.....
I have always thought of linen clothing as "resort wear". The type of stuff you would wear if you were on the beach in Fiji walking along during the sunset. I never pictured myself, or anyone else for that matter, wearing linen on a daily basis. Today Foo and I were eating lunch at Chipotle (Foo's newest obsession). Two women walked in and one of them was wearing white linen pants. Not only was she wearing linen pants, but her bright magenta shirt was tucked into them, which was so obvious it just looked terrible. Since linen is ridiculously see through, it didn't look like she was wearing any underwear. On top of all that the pants were so tight on her that the stitching on the seam was pulling apart, like hanging on for dear life. Moral of the story, don't wear white linen pants unless you are vacation and if you are wearing said pants (on vacation, I am not condoning wearing them any other time) wear underwear, get a pair that fits properly and don't tuck your shirt into them.

Observation while at lunch
Today while at lunch at Mr Goodcents I couldn't help but observe a couple annoying things today. First, old men need to stop dying their hair. Either dye it correctly or stop dying it at all. You aren't fooling anyone by dying the top, but leaving the edges your natural color. Second, people that have small children and let them eat off of a bare table. There is no way of knowing who sneezed, coughed or who knows what else on that table which you are letting your kid eat off of. Third, and last but not least, stop having kids you are not willing to parent. I don't want to have to sit next to 3 bratty kids while you wait in line for your food. Until another time :)

Shopping at Costco
Every time we go to COSTCO I love to look at what people have in their shopping carts. I have to laugh most of the time. Costco is the one store where people buy so many things that they just don't need or will never use. Also, if you are a senior citizen, why is your shopping cart full of giant bulk items? Since Foo and I don't have children, there are things we end up not buying because we know we will never use the item either before it spoils or there is just too much of one item. The same ideology should be running through senior's heads. Just because the price is good doesn't mean you have to buy it, especially if you end up wasting most of it. I have to say though that COSTCO is one of my favorite stores. The products sold there are great. They even have cute clothes. Today they had Popcornopolis at our COSTCO. Foo Loves this stuff. They don't have any stores in AZ, so he ended up getting 6 packs of popcorn to last him until they come back next time (hopefully). I especially love their food. They have some of the best produce and a lot of it is organic. Their pre-made meals are great too, I just wish they had nutritional information on it, so I can point my meals easier. I am doing Weight Watchers, if you couldn't guess that by the pointing meals comment. We just bought 93% lean ground turkey for $2.29 a pound. I rarely see it any cheaper at a regular grocery store. Definitely get your bread and meats there as well, unless your local market is having a smoking sale. Usually COCTCO is cheaper. One final comment before I leave. If you buy food in bulk at COSTCO, make sure you invest in a Food Saver. This product will definitely help you get your bang out of your buck when buying meat, cheese, bread and produce.
